About Silicdyne
Hey there!
First of all, a bit of background.
I’m Ulysse, Silicdyne founder. A few years ago, as a mechatronics and space enthusiast, I started working on a bunch of rocketry projects. Nothing too wild at first, but I quickly realized that I had caught a real obsession with the on-board electronics that made these rockets tick.
That obsession led me to kick off Silicdyne in early 2022, with the original goal of creating a do-it-all flight computer for myself and other rocketeers. I called it Fluctus, and what was supposed to be a short project ended up going much further than expected.
Three years of intensive work later, Fluctus became one of the most versatile and reliable flight computers out there, already trusted by more than 300 rocketeers around the globe and flown in hundreds of awesome projects.
My focus is now on the second big Silicdyne product: Reperix, a super compact GPS-based tracker built for high performance rocketry and other airborne vehicles. I’m also working on the quite more personal project to develop France’s first reusable rocket demonstrator, featuring a pump-fed biliquid rocket engine and neural-network-powered guidance system.
What’s next? Who knows! Silicdyne plans might extend well beyond just consumer rocketry electronics – maybe even rocket propulsion or full-scale vehicles. For now, I’m having a blast helping fellow rocketeers, one innovative gadget at a time, and I’m LOVING it.
Thanks for stopping by, and welcome to Silicdyne.
